The wines of the Bullas Designation
of origin
The Bullas Designation of Origin encompasses the municipalities of Bullas, Mula, Ricote, Cehegín and Pliego, Pedanías Altas de Lorca, Caravaca, Moratalla and Calasparra.
The land
It has a rugged topography with an altitude between 600 and 900 m.
The soils
The soils on which the cultivation of the vine takes place are very different in depth and texture.
The temperatures
The conditions recorded in the area are suitable for the development of the vegetative and productive cycle of the vine, especially the
Monastrell,
which is the predominant variety, covering more than 85% of the area. The wines of the Bullas DO have some different nuances due to
altitude and temperature difference
of its vineyards, in addition to its
rainfall conditions.
These are high-quality wines that convey their origin through their aromas and flavors.
